Canvas prints are also called as the giclee prints. These prints are produced by the technology of digital printing. Even though, these prints can be mounted after printing and the ink can be made to dry immediately, majority of the artists will be adding a security vanish coat on the surface of these prints. This security vanish coat will be securing the canvas print from the dirt particles and prevents the ink from getting dispersed even when it is mixed with small quantity of water. The first step to varnish a canvas print is to place it on a flat shaped surface. Fill a shallow sized container with your desired varnish. Dip a brush in the container and varnish the canvas print. Allow the canvas print to dry. To protect the canvas print when it is getting dried, you could cover it with a plastic sheet or a sheet of newsprint.

Daytime landscape photography is hard enough as it is, but there are those who like to shoot landscapes in the night because of the unique challenges of the work to be done. I have this friend who likes to do night photography. He’s had his share of misadventures in his unusual hobby. It is not uncommon for him to be mistaken for a trespasser because he just goes to whatever location that interests him, not bothering to ask permission first from owners to shoot in their property. He reasons that part of the reason he does the activity is that he doesn’t want locations to be unnecessarily beautified or cleaned up just for the pictorial which sometimes happens when you ask permission long before the scheduled shoot. Lucky for him that he’s such a charming guy so he has not been reported yet to the police for his trespassing ways.
